NICU

Nicu

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Services provide highly specialized care for newborns who require extra medical attention. The NICU is equipped to handle a variety of complex health issues that can arise in newborns, particularly in cases of premature birth, low birth weight, congenital anomalies, or complications during delivery. Our comprehensive approach ensures that every infant receives the best possible care for a healthy start in life.

1. Advanced Life Support and Monitoring: Our NICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide advanced life support and continuous monitoring. This includes incubators, ventilators, and specialized monitoring systems to constantly track the vital signs and health status of each infant. This technology is critical for stabilizing and supporting the most vulnerable newborns.

2. Specialized Medical Care: The level of care in our NICU is tailored to the individual needs of each newborn. Treatments include:

  • Respiratory support for those with immature lungs or breathing difficulties.
  • Intravenous (IV) therapy to deliver nutrients and medications.
  • Phototherapy for babies with jaundice.
  • Surgeries for congenital anomalies or other critical conditions.

3. Nutritional Support: Proper nutrition is vital for the growth and development of NICU babies. We provide specialized feeding plans that may include breast milk (when possible), formula adapted for premature infants, and parenteral nutrition (directly into the bloodstream) for those who cannot feed by mouth.
